Kool-Aid Punch
- add review
 - #31391

The perfect fruit punch for any occasion. It can be made ahead of time, or even frozen, without the ginger ale. Just add the ginger ale when serving.
ingredients
1 envelope unsweetened cherry Kool-aid drink mix
1 envelope unsweetened strawberry Kool-aid drink mix
2 cups sugar
1 can (6 ounce size) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 can (6 ounce size) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
3 quarts cold water
1 quart ginger ale, chilled
directions
Combine the dry drink mixes, sugar, and thawed juice concentrates in a punch bowl or large pitcher. Mix well to combine.
Stir in the water and mix until the sugar has dissolved.
If serving immediately, slowly stir in the ginger ale. Otherwise, keep the punch mixture chilled in the refrigerator and add the ginger ale just before serving.
nutrition data
Keeping a can of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer means you can make more than just orange juice. Try it in a variety of orange-flavored recipes.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

This is a great recipe!! I modified it a little by using the 12 oz. cans of OJ and Lemonade. I also freeze it overnight and take it out to thaw some before pouring it into the punch bowl. Makes it a little slushy and SO GOOD! Great for any occasion or just a weekend cookout.

This is the best punch. I recently got volunteered to make punch for 200 people at my daughter's prom. I was worried because I had never made that much at once. I used blue koolaide and it turned out great! The kids loved it and I had several people ask for the recipe.
