This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

- #102813

1-2 hrs
ingredients
3 pounds lean ground beef
3 cans (15 ounce size) sloppy joe sauce
directions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and brown, stirring frequently, until the meat is no longer pink. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the meat to the crock pot. Stir in the sloppy joe sauce.
Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 1 hour. Turn the heat to low or warm to keep warm while serving.
Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips for dipping. You can also stir in freshly grated cheddar cheese if desired (do not use the pre-shredded kind as that won't melt well in this recipe).
crock pot notes
Crock pots/slow cookers all heat differently. There is no standard among manufacturers. Cooking times are suggested guidelines based on our testing. Please adjust cooking times and temps to work with your brand and model of slow cooker.nutrition data
