These Cambodian chicken wings are the perfect party food. The soy sauce, brown sugar, green onions, and garlic powder all work together to create a mouth-watering marinade.
4 cups soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 bunches green onions, chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
24 chicken wings, tips removed (can also be separated into drummies and flappers if desired)
Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, green onions, and garlic powder in a zip-top plastic bag or other covered container. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
Add the wings to the marinade. Seal the bag and turn the bag over a few times to coat the wings in the marinade. Place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours or up to 3 days, turning the bag occasionally to evenly coat the wings.
When ready to cook the wings, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Drain the marinade from the wings. Place the wings in a single layer on the foil-lined baking sheet. Place the wings in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until cooked through, turning the wings occasionally so they brown on all sides.
Serve the wings hot.
