It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Brussels Sprout Soup

30-60 minutes
ingredients
1 medium onion, cubed
1 large potato, cubed
1 large link Kielbasa, 1-inch thick round
oil, as needed
1 can chicken stock
1 package Brussels sprouts
directions
Saute the onion and potato and Kielbasa in a little bit of oil. Add the chicken stock and simmer until potato is tender.
Save several whole Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Chop the rest of the Brussels sprouts in the food processor into small bits.
Add the Brussels sprouts to the soup and cook until the whole Brussels sprouts are just tender.
Serve, giving each bowl of soup a few of the whole sprouts as garnish.
