1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons finely chopped mixed herb fresh rosemary, sage, savory and thyme
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups pecans
2 cups almonds
2 cups walnuts
salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine the maple syrup, olive oil, herbs, and cayenne in a bowl until mixed.
Place the pecans, almonds, and walnuts in a large bowl. Drizzle the syrup mixture over the nuts while stirring to completely coat.
Spread the nuts on a rimmed baking sheet and place in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F, stirring the mixture occasionally until browned.
Season to taste with salt and pepper and let cool on the baking sheet, stirring occasionally. Serve slightly warm or at room temperature.
Store in an airtight container.

So easy and tasty. A nice treat to serve each guest on a girls' night at home. I guess the spicy-sweet taste lends itself more to whites than reds?
