The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

4 cups pecan halves
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Combine the pecans, seasoned salt, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix well to coat the nuts in the butter.
Spread the coated pecans evenly in a shallow baking dish. Place in the oven and bake at 325 degrees F for 25 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove the nuts from the oven. Serve warm or let cool and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
