ingredients

1 cup instant white rice, uncooked
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 package (16 ounce size) frozen California-blend vegetables
1 can (10.75 ounce size) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup Cheez Whiz or cut up Velveeta or American Cheese
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons butter, cut into bits

directions

Combine the rice, onion, and frozen vegetables in the crock pot.

In a bowl, combine the mushroom soup, cheese, milk, and water and mix until blended.

Pour the cheese mixture over the vegetables and mix well. Dot with the butter.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4-5 hours or until heated through. Stir well before serving.
