1 bag (16 ounce size) fresh bean sprouts
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 bunch chopped green onions
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Bring a large pan of water to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the bean sprouts and cook for 1 minute at a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and drain the bean sprouts well.
Transfer the bean sprouts to a bowl. Add the salt, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, green onions, and crushed red pepper. Mix well.
Serve the Korean bean sprouts warm or chill them until ready to serve. Garnish the bean sprouts with sesame seeds, if desired.
