Baked peas are a simple, yet delicious side dish. The peas are tender and creamy, with a slight crunch from the breadcrumbs topping.

6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cups frozen peas
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8 baking dish.
Combine the bacon, peas, cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well. Pour into the greased baking dish.
Evenly sprinkle the peas with the bread crumbs.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until bubbly and browned. Serve hot.
