Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Rice With Red Wine

ingredients
6 slices Bacon -- chopped in 1" pieces
2 cups instant rice
2 cups water
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups Mushroom -- fresh, sliced
4 tablespoons red wine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
salt, to taste
1 1/2 tablespoon parsley, chopped
directions
Saute bacon until almost crisp. Drain excess grease. Return to heat. Add onion, mushrooms, red wine and Worcestershire sauce. Saute until onion is translucent.
Cook rice according to package directions. Stir bacon and vegetables into rice. Add cheese and mix well. Salt to taste. Garnish with parsley. Serve warm.
