ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 jar (8 ounce size) taco sauce
1 can (15 ounce size) refried beans
1 pound sour cream
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

directions

Heat a deep skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring, until the meat is cooked. Drain off any excess grease.

Stir the taco seasoning, taco sauce, and refried beans into the beef. Stir well to combine then let simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Spoon the beef mixture into the crock pot. Spread the sour cream over the top of the beef then sprinkle with the shredded cheese.

Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 20 minutes or until the cheese melts. Turn the crock pot to low. Serve hot from the crock pot with tortilla chips.

crock pot notes

  1. KET REVIEW:

We use this as either a dip or to make actual nachos (just put the chips down on a baking tray, top with the mixture, more cheese, and broil until cheese melts!)
