ingredients
1 container (16 ounce size) sour cream
1 jar (3 ounce size) real bacon bits
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1 cup chopped green onions (green scallions)
directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix well to blend. Pour into a 1 1/2 to 2 quart baking dish. Cover.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot. Serve with assorted fresh, raw vegetables, crackers and/or chips.
Dip may also be placed in a hollowed out round sourdough loaf, wrapped in foil, and heated in a 400 degrees F oven for 30 minutes.
