Put this chicken recipe in the crock pot, go play a round of golf (or something else that takes 4-5 hours!), and come back to a delicious, hot cooked meal.
In a bowl, stir together the onion soup mix, salad dressing, and apricot jam. Mix well. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the chicken and sauce over rice, if desired.

Did not care for this recipe at all. Baked it in the slow cooker for 4 hours on low and the chicken was too dry and tasteless. Thought the sauce was a little greasy from the Russian dressing. Won't be making this one again.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Make your mornings a little less hectic with these overnight breakfast recipes. Prep the night before and enjoy a warm, comforting meal in the morning.
