Chicken With Nectarines

ingredients
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
4 tablespoons butter
4 nectarines, peeled, pitted and quartered
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup whipping cream
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Place chicken breasts, one at a time, between 2 sheets of waxed paper and gently pound with rolling pin until flattened and about 1/4 inch thick.
Saute chicken in butter on one side for 5 minutes. Turn, add nectarines and continue to saute for another 5-10 minutes until done. Remove chicken and nectarines to heated platter and keep warm in oven.
For Sauce: Add flour to pan drippings and mix thoroughly with wire whisk. Add cream and continue to whisk over medium heat until sauce thickens. Season to taste. Pour over chicken and nectarines.
Serve immediately.
