ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1/4 cup chardonnay
1/4 cup green onions
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon blackening seasoning
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Creole mustard
1/2 pound crab meat
1/2 loaf French bread

directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Heat in sauce pan, cream cheese, garlic, and Chardonnay. Add green onions, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, blackening seasoning, Tabasco, lemon zest, lemon juice and Creole mustard. Heat well and add crab meat.

Spread on French bread, cut in half. Top with Cheddar cheese and green onions and bake until brown and bubbly.

    The crab spread is really good. It's a little spicy but I liked it like that. I cut the bread into rounds and spread it on then put in the oven.
