Who has time for complicated fried rice these days? Just keep it simple and you'll only need four ingredients and a few minutes. The best part is that leftover rice is ideal, so you can clean out the fridge a little too.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup sliced green onions
3 cups cooked brown rice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the green onions and cook, stirring until tender.
Stir the rice into the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, until the rice is heated through. Stir in the soy sauce.
Serve hot.

5 stars? for this recipe? Yes, because it is everything it says it is: simple fried rice. No, this is not traditional fried rice. It's an easier version that gives you similar flavor with less effort. I picked this recipe because I wanted a recipe using brown rice. The end result was a very buttery flavored rice - very tasty and done in just a few minutes.
