ingredients

2 cups uncooked white rice
1 package onion soup mix
1/4 cup cooking oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 can (8 ounce size) sliced mushrooms, drained
3 cups warm water

directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine the rice, soup mix, oil, soy sauce, and mushrooms in a baking dish. Slowly add the water and gently stir to mix the ingredients and dissolve the soup mix.

Cover the baking dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.

Stir before serving.
