Hamburger Stroganoff Casserole With Biscuit Topping

ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 can french fried onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 can flaky refrigerated biscuits
directions
Brown and drain ground beef. Combine soup and sour cream.
In a LARGE casserole, combine the ground beef, pepper and 1 can of the onions. Add 3/4 of the soup/sour cream mixture.
Cut biscuits in half to make half-circles. Stand, cut side down, around edge of casserole on top of meat mixture. Use 4 in center of casserole. Spoon remaining soup/sour cream mixture over biscuits. Sprinkle with half can of French Fried onions (note: use up the other half in with the meat mixture.)
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes, or until top is brown and biscuits are done.
