Pizza night is always a favorite, especially when you have great tasting pizza from some of the most popular restaurants.

Everybody loves a classic stroganoff, but it's not exactly a hands-off recipe. The crockpot comes to the rescue as it always does with a thick, creamy sauce that turns out perfect.
2 1/2 pounds boneless beef chuck or round steak
salt and pepper
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cup beef stock
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup water
3 tablespoons white wine
1/3 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
cooked egg noodles
Season the beef liberally with the salt and pepper. Place in the bottom of the crock pot.
In a bowl, whisk together the garlic, Worcestershire, beef stock, and ketchup. Pour over the beef.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours or until the beef is tender.
Turn the heat to high. Whisk together the flour and water. Stir into the crock pot. Mix well. Add the mushrooms and wine. Stir.
Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Stir well then stir in the sour cream. Serve the beef stroganoff hot over cooked egg noodles.

It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

The only thing I would omit the wine as I do not use alcohol in any of my cooking.

So glad this recipe doesn't use canned mushroom soup! It was flavorful and easy. Did add more onions, garlic and a few red pepper flakes to give it just a little more oomph. It's a keeper!

This was quite delicious, especially given that it's a low maintenance crockpot recipe. It seemed very easy to make and provided great leftovers for even easier dinners later on. I used canned mushrooms and accidentally added the water from one of the cans but that made no difference as far as the finished product was concerned. The two biggest changes I made consisted of recalculating the recipe for 6 people instead of 8 and cooking the stroganoff in 4 hours instead of the time called for in the recipe. This is definitely a keeper!
