ingredients
1 pound round steak or venison
flour, for dredging
oil
salt and pepper, to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup water
12 ounces broad egg noodles
directions
Cut steak into bite-size pieces. Place flour in large bowl, add meat and toss to coat with flour.
Heat about one-eighth inch oil in heavy skillet. Add steak and brown over medium heat. Place steak in slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix soup and water in skillet with drippings from the meat, then pour over meat in slow cooker. Cook on low for six to eight hours.
Cook noodles according to manufacturer's directions. Serve with meat mixture.
