ingredients
4 (8 ounce size) petite sirloin steaks
1 pound peeled and deveined raw shrimp
1 cup pineapple juice
1/3 cup soy sauce
4 teaspoons powdered ginger
Jamaican jerk seasoning
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper
olive oil
pineapple chunks
directions
Marinate steaks and shrimp overnight in marinade mixture (pineapple juice, soy sauce and ginger), turning occasionally.
Prepare grill or oven broiler. Remove meat and shrimp from marinade and cook to desired doneness. Discard marinade.
Meanwhile, stir fry the bell peppers until crisp tender with olive oil. Add pineapple and heat through.
Add jerk seasoning to meat and shrimp during final minutes of cooking. Garnish with vegetable mixture.
