Sweet Potatoes With Pineapple And Marshmallows

Sweet potatoes take on a tropical twist with this recipe by including crushed pineapple.

ingredients
2 cans (40 ounce size) sweet potatoes in heavy syrup, drained
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut up
1 can (20 ounce size) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 cup maple syrup
1 package (10 ounce size) large marshmallows
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the drained sweet potatoes, butter, pineapple, and syrup in a bowl. Mix together until well combined.
Place the sweet potato mixture in a 9x13 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and top the sweet potatoes evenly with the marshmallows. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes or until the marshmallows are soft.
Serve hot.
