This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

1 pound bacon, diced
2 cups bread crumbs
1/4 cup minced onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 cans (16 ounce size) cream style corn
In a skillet, fry the bacon until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
Pour 1/8 to 1/4 cup of the bacon drippings over bread crumbs; set aside.
Discard all but 2 tablespoons of remaining drippings; saute onion and green pepper until tender. Stir in corn and bacon.
Spoon into a 1 quart baking dish; sprinkle with crumbs.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Grew up with this dish. Always a family favorite.

This dish was easy, quick and very tasty. The whole family liked it! When making it in the future I will cut the amount of bread crumbs in half, maybe more. The 2 cups was too much for my family's tastes.
