ingredients
1 can (4 ounce size) green chilies
3 cups fresh or frozen corn
1/3 cup yellow cornmeal
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup cheese, grated
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter baking dish.
Cut chilies in wide strips. Combine corn, cornmeal, butter, sugar and salt in blender. Layer 1/2 cornmeal mixture, chili strips and cheese. Top with rest of cornmeal mixture and put cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
