What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!

Cereal bars are always a hit but these green "lizard skins" will be the hit of your Halloween party.

1/2 cup peanut butter
12 ounces marshmallows
4 drops green food coloring
4 cups Rice Krispies, Cheerios or corn flakes
non-stick cooking spray
16 raisins
Grease a 8-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine the peanut butter and marshmallows in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir until melted.
Add the green food coloring to the marshmallow mixture and stir well until the color is even.
Add the cereal and quickly stir to coat in the marshmallow mixture.
Pour the cereal mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Place in the refrigerator to cool for about 15 minutes.
When cool, cut the mixture into long thin strips, about 1-inch by 4-inches in size. Cut the raisins in half and stick them on one end of the strip to make the lizard's eyes.
You can also use mini chocolate chips in place of the raisins.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

I used Rice Krispies and instead of raisins I used mini chocolate chips. I made them into snake like shapes (and called them "snake skins"). The flavor and texture was really good, and they were just plain fun!
