This sweet, slightly boozy sauce is delicious on pound cake, cheesecake, ice cream... any dessert where you want a splash of fruity flavor.

ingredients
1 pound frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed
2 tablespoons dark rum
directions
Combine the thawed strawberries and rum in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth. If a sweeter sauce is desired, add powdered sugar to taste.
Transfer the sauce to a covered container and chill for 30 minutes or until ready to use.
