ingredients
2 large whole round steaks, cut 1/4" thick
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Cut the fat from the round steak. Spread all the above ingredients over the steaks, roll tightly and hold closed with toothpicks. Tie meat with kitchen string, both short and long-ways.
Brown in hot olive oil on all sides and place in your homemade tomato based pasta sauce. Simmer, covered 3-4 hours or until tender.
Serve with spaghetti and a good crusty Italian bread.
