3 cups minced cooked ham
1 pound ground pork or turkey
1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup light cream or half and half
1/4 cup chopped parsley
3 tablespoons finely chopped green bell pepper
3 eggs
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Orange Sauce
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/3 cup orange juice
2 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 orange, sliced
directions
Grease a 4 cup ring mold.
In large bowl, mix all meat loaf ingredients until well mixed. Pat into mold. Cover. Refrigerate until baking time.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce: In medium pan, mix first 6 ingredients. Stir in cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened. Set aside.
About 1 1/4 hours before serving, preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake meat loaf 45 minutes. Invert onto baking sheet and remove mold.
Brush meat loaf with orange sauce; return to oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes more, brushing occasionally with sauce. Turn on broiler and broil meat loaf 3" from heat until browned.
In small pan, heat remaining sauce over low heat. Garnish meat loaf with orange slices and serve with remaining sauce.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
