ingredients

2 pounds lean ground beef
1 pound lean ground pork
2 eggs
3/4 cup brown sugar (more is ok)
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1/3 cup ketchup
onion and garlic powder to taste, use plenty for deeper flavor
1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal (not instant)
Many shakes of Trappey's red devil sauce

directions

Thoroughly mix everything but the meat in a large bowl. Add meat and blend completely. Hand smooshing is best.

Form in any shape you like on a foil lined pan Smooth the surface with wet hands for a shiny, crusty finish Bake in 350 degrees F oven for about an hour, or check with a thermometer for desired done temperature.

If you want a really perky loaf, you should probably use Tabasco.
