ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon chopped onion
2 tablespoons fat
1/2 cup cooked beets, finely chopped, drained
1 tablespoon grated horseradish
1 teaspoon salt
potato cakes or French bread, for serving
directions
Stir and cook hamburger and onion in the fat until lightly cooked but not brown. Stir in the beets, horseradish; and salt. Simmer until mixture is semi-soft.
Serve with potato cakes or French bread.
