German Potato Ground Beef Patties
- add review
- #54830

ingredients
1 medium potato, grated
1 pound ground beef
salt and pepper, to taste
1 medium onion, minced
1 egg
2 tablespoons dried bread crumbs
flour
shortening
directions
Mix potato, beef, salt, pepper, onion, egg and bread crumbs together. Shape into patties. Dip patties in loose flour you seasoned with a little salt and pepper.
Heat shortening in skillet, not too much, about 2 Tbsp. to start. Add patties to hot shortening and fry over medium heat until when poked with fork and pressed down on, no pinkness flows out of meat. It usually takes about 10 minutes on each side with skillet covered.
Eat with brown spicy grainy mustard.
