Beef And Cream Cheese Tacos

ingredients
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup water
1 1/4 ounce taco seasoning mix
1 cup diced green chilies
1 cup thick & smooth taco sauce
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
12 taco shells, warmed
Toppings
shredded lettuce
chopped tomato
sliced green onions
sour cream
directions
Brown beef; drain. Stir in water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese, chilies, taco sauce and cream cheese; stir until cream cheese is melted.
Fill taco shells with beef mixture. Top with lettuce, tomato, green onions and sour cream.

The cream cheese adds a nice change in consistency to an otherwise regular taco recipe. You can also use soft flour tortillas for soft-shelled tacos.
