5 Soup Casserole

- #63597

ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
1 chopped green bell pepper
1 cup celery chopped fine
2 green onion, use the whole stalk
8 ounces pasta shells or noodles of your choice (I use noodles)
1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup
1 can undiluted tomato soup
1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
1 can undiluted onion soup
2 cans undiluted cream of celery soup
shredded cheddar cheese
Optional Toppings
crushed potato chips
dry Chinese noodles
French fried onion pieces
directions
Cook the hamburger with green pepper, celery, and onion. Drain and set aside. Boil the pasta and set aside.
Mix all the soups together in a saucepan. Do not dilute. Heat thoroughly and blend. The soups will look awful, but the taste is unbelievable.
Mix all ingredients together in a large casserole and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until bubbly.
Return to oven with cheese and other toppings and bake another 5 minutes. Let casserole set for 15 minutes before serving to let flavors blend.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

There is just the 2 of us so I halved the recipe. Very easy to make, nice to serve and tastes great. I did not have chips on hand so just went with cheese. My husband had 2 servings...biggest compliment.
