This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.


1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Montreal steak seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 1/2 pound porterhouse or sirloin steaks, trimmed
Mix all ingredients, except steak, in small bowl. Place steak large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well.
Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor. Remove steak from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.
Grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
NOTE: Lively citrus flavors and piquant seasonings combine to create this Cuban influenced marinade for steak.
