Ham Steak With Papaya Salsa

ingredients
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1 medium papaya, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/4 cup pineapple preserves
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 pound reduced-sodium boneless ham steak
mixed green salad (optional)
directions
For Papaya Salsa: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Heat a grill pan or a large nonstick skillet. Combine preserves, lime juice and mustard in a small bowl. Brush over both sides of ham steak. Grill over medium-high heat about 3 minutes per side, until browned.
Cut ham steak into serving pieces. Serve with papaya salsa and salad, if desired.
