Chinese Chow Mein Salad

ingredients
1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/2 head cabbage, sliced finely
2 cups bean sprouts
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 green onions, sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 cups chopped cooked chicken, turkey, or pork
1 package chow mein noodles
1 package ramen noodles, broken
DRESSING
1 package seasoning mix from ramen noodles
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon white sugar
directions
Toast the almonds and sesame seeds in a 350 degrees F oven about 8 to 10 minutes. Mix them and other salad ingredients (except noodles) together in a large bowl.
Combine dressing ingredients in shaker jar. You can chill these for an hour or two, or eat now.
Add noodles and dressing to salad just before serving.
