It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

If you're looking for a classic chicken salad recipe that will please even the pickiest eater, then look no further. This old fashioned chicken salad is perfect on its own or in a sandwich.
1 fryer chicken
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon sugar
3 cups Miracle Whip salad dressing
8 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
Place the chicken in a pot of boiling water and let cook for one hour or until it is cooked and starting to fall off the bones. Remove the chicken from the liquid and let cool until it can be handled.
When cool, remove the chicken meat from the bones. Discard the bones and skin and chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large bowl.
Add the chopped celery, relish, sugar, and salad dressing to the bowl and mix well. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir in the chopped eggs. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least one hour before serving.
Serve on a bed of lettuce or on buns or croissants.

My picky boyfriend made me leave out celery so I sneak in celery seed. I didnât have time to boil eggs so I left them out. A nice basic recipe! I liked it
