1 package (18.25 ounce size) butter-type yellow cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare
1 can (20 ounce size) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 cup granulated sugar
1 package (3 ounce size) vanilla pudding
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese
2 large bananas
1 package (8 ounce size) whipped topping
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 cup shredded coconut
directions
Bake cake according to directions. Cool. Punch holes in cake.
Mix pineapple with juice with sugar. Boil for 5 minutes; pour over the cake while it is still warm.
Mix pudding according to package directions and combine with cream cheese, mixing well.
After the cake has cooled pour pudding and cream cheese mixture over cake. Put banana slices on top. Put on whipped topping. Then top with nuts and coconut.
