ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white, oat, rice, or soy flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
8 slices bacon
1/2 pound lean ground beef
2 bottle (8 ounce size) pizza sauce
1/2 green bell pepper, cut into thin rings
1/2 red bell pepper, cut into thin rings
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup pitted ripe olives, sliced
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
directions
In a bowl, combine flours, cornmeal, and baking powder; pour in milk and oil and mix well.
Oil your hands lightly and press the dough into a greased pizza pan. Press up edges to hold filling. Bake at 425 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.
In a skillet, fry bacon until crisp; remove, drain on paper towels, and crumble.
In skillet, cook beef until browned and crumbly; drain.
Spread pizza sauce over crust; spoon meat over sauce; sprinkle bacon over meat; and top with remaining ingredients. Return to oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
