Brown Sugar And Sour Cream Candied Nuts

ingredients
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups walnuts or pecans
directions
Butter sides of heavy saucepan and combine sugars and sour cream; stir over low heat until dissolved. Continue to cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (238 degrees F).
Remove from heat, add vanilla and stir until candy begins to thicken.
Quickly stir in nuts, pour onto a well-buttered cookie sheet. Separate into individual pieces.

Excellent recipe! Everything turned out great and they have an amazing flavor! Make sure when you pour it on the cookie sheet to cool to separate the pieces quickly because it thickens fast.
