This hummus is a flavorful and unique take on the classic Mediterranean dip. Made with the balanced flavors of garbanzo beans, sesame oil, peanut butter, lime, garlic, and fresh basil.

ingredients
2 cans (15 ounce size) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 teaspoons lime zest
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup minced fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Combine the garbanzo beans, oil, peanut butter, lime juice, lime zest, and garlic in a food processor. Process until smooth.
Stir in the fresh basil, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Serve with pita wedges for dipping.
