Whole Wheat Buttermilk Bread - CDKitchen.com

ingredients

3 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tablespoon wheat gluten
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 cup 2% milkfat buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoon bread machine yeast

directions

Add all the ingredients to the bread machine in the order recommended by your machine manufacturer.

Set the machine on whole wheat cycle with the light crust setting.

When the bake cycle is done, remove the pan from the machine. Let the bread cool for a few minutes then remove from the pan to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days.
