I always get upset when I read "wheat flour" also. What they really should be saying is "whole wheat flour".

what size loaf does this recipe make? my bread machine requires a loaf size setting.

  3. Taos Mom REVIEW:

The best bread for bread machines recipe I have found on the web! So awesome. I did add 3 tablespoons of gluten to the recipe, but I do this with most recipes, as I live at high altitude and it helps the texture. Thanks!

I am always puzzled by the term "wheat flour" (isn't most flour made from wheat?) so I looked up the definition: durum wheat flour, semolina flour, whole wheat flour, graham flour, bread flour, all-purpose flour, pastry flour, and cake flour. When a recipe calls for wheat flour, I don't know which kind was used.
