Chicken And Broccoli With Wine

ingredients
3 cups cooked chicken, chopped
2 packages (10 ounce size) frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
OR
3 cups fresh, chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste
1 clove garlic
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup dry white wine or vermouth
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
grated Parmesan cheese for top of casserole
directions
Butter a large, shallow casserole dish, put in broccoli, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Dot with butter. Place chicken over broccoli.
Heat soup and cream in a saucepan. Add garlic, wine and cheese, stirring over low heat until cheese melts. Remove garlic and stir in mayonnaise.
Pour sauce over broccoli and chicken. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes until bubbly.
