ingredients
2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 green or red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups elbow macaroni pasta
1 cup fresh mushrooms
directions
Cook beef until brown. Add onion and peppers. Bring noodles to boil. Drain. Mix all ingredients and spread in an 8-inch by 12-inch baking dish. Top with mushrooms. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes until mushrooms are crisp and cheese is melted through.

my son an i loved it!! an my son is very picky on certian things but he loved this one!! but i do agree that you need to add a little milk to it. but other than that it was good.

Something was missing because it turned out too dry just as is. I then added a can of campbell's cheddar cheese soup w/ 3/4 can of 2% milk & salt & pepper to taste. Perfect! Very smooth & cheesy! Great comfort food! A keeper for those cold winter days!
