Bacon Double Cheeseburger Casserole

ingredients
1 pound cooked pasta
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 pound shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup bacon bits
1 pound browned ground beef, seasoned while browned
2 teaspoons salt
black pepper, to taste
directions
Combine all ingredients in a dutch oven type pot and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Top with extra cheddar during the last 5 minutes if you like.
Serve with toasted burger buns. adjust amounts according to portions you need.

This recipe turned out very salty. In my opinion, one could do without the salt at all. Otherwise, it is a super easy recipe that my family has come to love. Sometimes I omit the pasta and serve it like sloppy joes, which means I can make and serve it in a flash.
