Combine the brown sugar, peach nectar, vinegar, and ground cloves in a bowl and mix well.
Cut the skin of the ham in a diamond pattern. Insert the whole cloves, point side down, into the corners of the diamond.
Bake the ham as desired, basting several times with the peach glaze during the last 45 minutes or so of cooking time.
