ingredients
6 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
4 cups thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 pound thinly sliced ham or prosciutto, chopped
1 package (12 ounce size) fettuccine, uncooked
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
salt and ground black pepper, to taste
grated Parmesan cheese
directions
In large skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons butter, then add mushrooms and ham. Cook, stirring frequently, 5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Add peas to mushroom mixture and heat through. Add remaining butter and stir until melted.
Toss hot pasta thoroughly with mushroom mixture. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cheese.
