Scrambled Eggs With Croutons

ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, diced
1 cup large-sized seasoned croutons or bread cubes
4 extra large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 tablespoon minced chives, optional
directions
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Saute the onion and the bread or croutons for about 8 minutes.
During this time, in a bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk and salt and pepper. Pour the eggs into the skillet and stir and scramble them, mixing in the onions and bread, until the eggs are done the way you like them.
Serve with chives on top.
