ingredients

1 1/3 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cream of rice cereal
1/2 cup of cholesterol-free egg substitute
OR
1 beaten egg
3 teaspoons seasoning, your choice

directions

Start water boiling and stir in cream of rice cereal slowly, stirring constantly. Cook on medium heat 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, cover and let sit 4 minutes.

Add egg product or beaten eggs and appropriate seasonings.

Drop by rounded Tablespoons into simmering soup. Cover and cook on medium for 10-15 minutes or until dumplings are cooked through.
